Delayed I129-F NOA 1 from CA Service Center

Hi everybody!

My husband and I have been waiting for our NOA1 for the I129F from the California Service Center for over a month now. We live abroad, so I'm sure it took a week or so to get there, plus another week or so for any letters to get to us, but I read that the average turnaround time was 8 days?

Should we be worried? Is there any way we can contact them to see if they've received our application or if it's been lost in the mail?

Nothing to worry about. However it may serve to remind you that they are busy & your more important NOA 2 will take months which is also normal. The NOA 2 is the important one because its the final approval before its sent to NVC.

You can not contact CSC directly but you can call USCIS customer service. Many times this just leads to further frustration. Letters written to them go unanswered or take months to get a responce.

Hopefully in the end you case will fall into the averages.
