hello i kno i asking this way to early but once you get the approval when do u get the medical? is while sending in packet 3 or once you get the interview date and the same question regarding the police notice???? thank you

I would apply for the police certficate when you have the NOA2 and your file is on its way to Embassy in Germany.

In the UK we can call the medical office and schedule the medical as soon as we have the LNDxxxxxxxx number, so after the NOA2 is issued, unsure as to the rules for German Embassy.

thank you... for the police certificate does the person have 2 be there to get the certificate or a family memeber can get it for them... the reason im asking is that im having my fiancee come from germany this summer in july to visit for 2-3 monthes and i want her to go back for the intervies and medical

As far as I know, the police certificate is good for one year (although I'm not sure, might be six months), and it cannot be ordered online. Your fiancée has to go to the Bürgeramt (at city hall), and present there in person with her ID. I already got my certificate because I heard of one German here for whom it took three months to arrive. Mine, however, came within a couple of days. To be safe, I would have her get it before she leaves to visit you. Should it really expire before she needs it, you would have to reorder and pay €13 again. Better than not having it in hand for the interview!
