Hi guys!

I am so tired I got home this morning at around 9:30 am.

While I was in Morocco someone tried to steal my purse! I didn't know what was happening I have never had that happen so I tugged back and he didn't get it from me.

Then when I was coming back to LAX my flight was delayed so I got in at 2 am then had to drive 2 hours to get home and I went to get my car and they lost the key! I was so mad. I waited there outside until 7 am when they found it on the floor. So stupid. Anyways I hope everyone is well and have a great weekend.

Squeal! Gasp! Cavort! I GOT A JOB!!!!

Well, ok it's a 3 month temp position, but it's a paycheck!!!!! It's for one of the biggest corporations in the city (means working downtown, ew rush hour is going to suck) so if I perform well, I can probably find something more permanent, or something else more appealing in the meantime. Alhamdulellah!

09-29-06 - AOS & EAD off to Chicago via USPS

10-01-06 - Rec'd 9:13 pm // signed for by R. Mercado

10-05-06 - NOA on AOS & EAD (w/ no middle name)

10-06-06 - Checks Cashed

10-11-06 - Inquiry sent through USCIS to add middle name

10-15-06 - touched

10-24-06 - Biometrics Appt.

12-14-06 - Interview - "Approved" Pending FBI Check

01-10-07 - EAD touched

01-13-07 - EAD approved per CRIS email

Jean that is awesome about the job!! Leave early every morning and stop by a cafe near work and read the paper (Only advice I have.. lol)

Meriem - Eat something, take some ny-quil and get some sleep please... we'll take care of hachemi.. lol

Me and Yacine are back home...

My mom opened up my cell phone bill from before I left... I went WAYYYYY over my minutes... and got a huge bill... woohoo like i'm really looking forward to that... I'll share some pics later when I have some time... Take Care All

Alhamdoulillah on the job!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: I like Icey's suggestion of leaving early and getting some coffee or tea and having a little time to yourself. otherwise, might I suggest some audiobooks for the road, pleasant positive meditation ones are excellent for this type of drive! GO GET 'EM GIRL! :thumbs:

Wow thanks you guys. I appreciate it! I was considering the coffee before work thing. I'm always an early bird anyway. I hate being late. The stress is draining away... I'm so sleepy I can't keep my eyes open, and it's only 8:30 pm. LOL NOW COME ON VISA!!!!
