FINALLY payday (I get paid monthly) and I have a 4 day weekend! I don't think I'll be doing much for the 4th though. Khallid and I really thought he'd be here by now and my brother has been having this ongoing plan of a BBQ for his homecoming here. We'll my brother is still having the BBQ with all our friends, but I don't think I'll be going. Think I just might take the kiddos to the firework display here so it can just be us and I won't have to deal with people. ;)

Then this morning my retarded ex calls and tells me he's coming to MY house, bringing dinner for everyone so we can all talk. #######??? He$$ NO he is NOT staying in my house for any period of time. That has just set my day off on a bad note. :( I think his thinking is because the kids HATE going to his place, he can come to mine and hang out. He needs to throw that idea out of his little mind.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday so far!

Amy, must be something in the air. Mine called me yesterday afternoon and asked if I would like to come to dinner. I declined.

I have sent out a gajillion resumes this week. I have thrown myself at the mercy of 5 employment agencies. I'M STILL SITTING HERE WAITING FOR THE !@*#$ PHONE TO RING. Blah. I have several years administrative/clerical experience in several industries... you think eventually someone would bite. I realize it takes at least a week after a position closes for them to make contacts but I need some solace here! Grrrrr...

Mohammed and I have been a bit snipey at each other the last few days. He's still fighting his flu and it has gone unseasonably hot in Egypt so toss that on top of his depression, and all my frustrations, well... EWWWW. We are also each other's best friend so all the doo doo gets dumped. So we are poopy at each other, then he calls and we talk about how dumb we're being... this is the first relationship I've ever had where I was allowed to be poopy and told it will never change his love for me. So... we are just 2 poopy people!!! (This will pass, always does.)

Ick. You guys don't know how much I want to sit and write these daily blurbs saying again "gee, i'm so bored at my desk, but it's pay day, and I miss Mohammed." LOL What was the song lyric... "You don't know what you got til its gone?"

Appreciate ladies, appreciate!

Hi everyone. Happy Friday. Less than 48 hours till Hachemi's interview. Man, is he anxious. We have been going over our documents getting them in order. Making sure we have everything filled out correctly. This is sooooo stressful. I hope we have it easy like the last few couples that went through Algiers, but we are going to be prepared just in case. I have my 2 year old grandbaby Annalee for the weekend, so she is keeping me occupied.

Jean and Amy, What are your ex'es thinking? Do they want one more chance or something? Hell No! Tell them to take a hike. You gals have met the love of your life. They had their chance. My ex showed his butt when I first moved to my new house. I almost called the cops on him then. I told him when he comes to my house to pick up kyle, not to even get out of his truck. And that is exactly what he has done. He was really an a$$ until he found a girlfriend, so now he doesnt really bother me. And if he calls me, I just hand the phone to Kyle. Just hearing his voice brings back some bad memories.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Mine is a complete total loser. Some of you know the gorey details about him and what he did to me. He's a freak. The kids absolutely HATE going anywhere with him and when they do, they come home crying because all he does when they are with him is sleep. Plus his house is sooooo natsy that DFS has been called on him a few times and they make him clean it up so the kids can go there. I don't want them to sit foot in his house, but I don't have a choice in this state. Only thing that is good is that my son turns 12 in Septemeber then he has the say if he has to see him or not.

I have a feeling why he wants to come over today. He is SUPPOSED to be paying me $700.00 a month child support and pays a whooping $200.00 that he complains about. He's probably wanting out of that too. So I've decided, next time he b###### about it, I'm going to see how he would feel about signing off the rights to the kids. He NEVER wants to see them anyway, causes my son many meltdowns when he goes with him, plus after what he did to me in the past, he needs to thank God that he can even see the kids.

Ok....my venting is done now! ;)

Today has been decent. I cleaned the apartment, blew 3 hours online job hunting, talked 2 HOURS (OMG) on the phone with Mohammed, and made a pot of mushroom stew. I also got a call from a recruiter who found my resume on Monster.com and will meet with her on Monday. Best part was the long phone conversation with mah dude. We laughed through most of it.

Does anyone else on here have and want to share a myspace.com page? I took mine off my profile since what has become to be known as "the isidious incident" has resurrected again.

Mmmm, cake. inshaAllah he'll be able to eat it at his next birthday!

All right ya'll, I'm heading out for the weekend. I'm going to do my darndest to stay offline, but since I'm like, addicted and all, I'll probably pop in occasionally.

Happy 4th of July! Enjoy the fireworks, parades and picnics. Tamer and I will be decked out in our america/egypt friendship pins for the festivities.
