Me and my fiance are so depress because we didn't hear any updates regarding my case. I had an interview last April 2 but I got a white slip. I already submitted the additional documents that they wanted from me, its almost 6 weeks now but we didn't hear anything from the embassy. My fiance called to the USEM every week to follow-up my case but there were no changes, its still under administrative review.

Its really frustrating, I thought that everything went well but it was really suck. Sigh......

Sorry to hear that.

I know what it's like to wait, we're waiting too. Just hang in there, you will get an answer.

Good luck and I hope you get your visa soon. (F)

It takes a minimum of 6 weeks after submitting the additional docs. You should be getting a letter any day now ;) We had to submit additional docs twice, for a total wait of 4 months until we got our second interview, but it was approved

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

Honestly, we don't know. We were as prepared as anyone could be, but the CO accused her of being married before, and told her that she needed to get an annulment first before filing for a K1, she then tried to get Rhea to admit to being married on the promise of getting her visa on the spot but Rhea refused to admit to that lie, so then the consulate accused her of faking her identity because of a late BC registration and a smudge on the NBI. Then they gave her the white slip requesting another NBI, another Bc, another police clearance, old ID's, elementary school records, photos of the baptismal book including all relevant pages and the cover as well as the baptismal certificate. She also gave them notarized letters from school teachers, the midwife and the assistant of the mayor claiming that they knew her taught her or attended the birth and that she is who she said she is.

In my opinion, there was not enough fraud going through the embassy that day so we got singled out.

I am sorry to hear about this but did you guys ever submitted CENOMAR? I just thought that CENOMAR will prove that she is single or maybe ask NSO if they can give you a document stating that she never got married.

I hope everything will straighten up in your prob soon! :star:

Yea, she has already submitted 2 of those, I just forgot to list it. There was only 3 things that the old Bi*** listed that she wanted submitted that Rhea did not already submit;

1 photos of the baptismal book cover, with the certificate

2 hospital records from pregnancy or birth (saying that rhea had already given birth) and

3 a marriage index.

we wrote out an affidavit stating that such documents didn't exist and stated the reasons why, then had it notarized.

Everything else Rhea had already submitted at the interview but the CO(w) said "I think these are fake, go get me another copy".

Oh yeah. I remember her now. The US embassy is taking it's sweet time reviewing her papers I guess. They are still checking her out.

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."
