:star:his name is tatood in my heart :star: O.K., seriously,I got some tats in the military, but now that I'm getting older (and older, and older), I'd better not push it by adding more. I'm already nervous as to what i'll tell my grandson when he starts asking questions

 No thank you. It sounds painful to me. I don't think I could get any tatoos of any kind....unless they wash or peel off

Beside I hear too many stories of cute flowers turning into full blown trees or kittens turning into tigers after age 50 or a few babies

Very bad choice for a tat .

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I have heard all of the stigma attached to getting the names tattooed on your body. Used to buy into myself as well. Tried all the "conventional" stuff in the 1st marriage and it eventually failed. This time around, we both went unconventional. I have the Irish Gaelic saying from our wedding rings, our marriage date, and our intials surrounded by celtic knotwork in an armband around my bicep. I take tattoos as very serious works, they are there for life, but, I had absoloutely no reservations about getting this done. To each thier own.

No thank you. I'm not a big fan of tattoos (though who knows if I'll change my mind in the future).

I don't think it's a good idea to tattoo your SO's name on your body.

Nope. I do have a tattoo and I love it, but I would never get Patrick's name tattooed on me, nor he mine. I might get the German saying from our wedding rings, like what rooster described, without the name/date.

Yeah, to each his own!
