May be our applications sitting on some one's desk who dont like to work like spoled child or may be on vacations. I feel we will not get approval even if we wait more now and i think we should do something like contacting USCIS or other options. what you guys think about it and keep posted here!

It is too much wait now. Let's call USCIS and try to talk with supervisers too and say that people are getting approved who filed after us. And share here what they tell you. I plan to call them on Tuesday and will share here!

Hi Everyone,

Likewise, I am one of those VSC to CSC (March) transfers and am tired of seeing those who filed after being approved and getting their 10yr green card first, before those who have waited for a much longer time. Whatever happened to "first come first served" here?

To all of you still waiting: "Don't give up and be persistent!". :thumbs:

And by all means, especially if you are "outside of the standard processing times", I definitely encourage you to:

1) Contact your local congressperson/senator/ombudsman for additional expedite help. (which I did for the 2nd time, and finally got my case "approved" in April after that)

2) To call the mis-information line for inquiries. (which I did for the 1st and 3rd times, and finally got my "card production ordered" in May after that last inquiry)

Meanwhile, I still have to do is wait for in the mail for the actual card, which I'm guessing will take about 5-7 days or so....(hopefully before June)

So the waiting continues...Why do I feel as though we got the "short end of the stick" here? (first with the VSC delay, and then with the CSC delay after the transfer)..... :angry:

Hope this helps. Good luck on the rest of your immigration journeys too.

I applied in early August(actually sent my app in late July) of 2008 and I was transferred on March 02, 2009, but nothing so far.

Should I be concerned? The only thing that's keeping me away from calling them is that I'm a divorce-waiver filer and I dont know how long takes them for waivers.

Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you.

We filed 09-04-08 and we got transfer March 10, 2009. We received approval notice May 14, 2009. And now we are still waiting for my actual 10 year green card. And we're hoping we'll get it before we apply for N-400 next month.

The waiting really sucks but we have to be patient! :whistle:

Good luck everyone! :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

I don't think any of use should be concerned, even the divorce waiver here. Just with a divorce waiver, they may call you in for an interview.

Same here, I am waiting a little over 7 months now; I've seen people getting approved from 62 days to 14 months. I was wondering if anyone knows how to contact the Senator/Congressman or USCIS Ombudsman (is he like a supervisor???). I am in Massachusetts if that matters

Thank you.
