I got married May, 15 2005 while my wife who is originally from Peru was not a US Citizen yet. She then became citizen in December 2005 and then we applied for my Permanent Residence Status in January 2006. In August 2006 I received my Green Card and in September of 2007 we got divorced. In may of 2008 I applied to Remove Conditions on Residence and mailed all documentation asked then two months later I received a letter which extended my green card for another year. Now last week I received a letter asking for more evidence of our Marriage in Good Faith. I don't have some of the evidences they ask for such as proof of rental or utilities bills (because my ex-wife and I live with my parents, we are both college students), but we have cell phone bill, bank statements, auto insurance, tax forms, etc in both of our names and same address. I am really scared of what is going to happen and need to have a plan B in case something does not go as I expect. I have until June 15, 2009 to send the evidence requested and my Green Card extension expires in August, 16 one week after my college graduation. Please I need guidance on how to proceed and what to expect. If they deny can I appeal? How long would an appeal take? I also have about 28,000.00 in Federal Loan taken for my college education, if I am asked to leave the Country what would happen to my debts (I don't really want to leave this country though)? What are my chances? What could I do to increase my chances of having my evidences accepted? Please reply to this post ASAP because my time is really short now!

Thank you!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Hard to "create" evidence at this point. Best you can do is get affidavits from friends and maybe even from your ex stating you married with good faith and not for immigration purposes.

If denied you will go thru removal proceedings where you can fight your case.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

You can't send what you didn't have (and don't have) but you can explain why you don't have it. Any other evidence you have - like pictures with friends and family, trips taken with your wife etc. should be submitted to supplement what you already did. Good Luck
