so when you make the cat go away? then what? it goes to another person's house and bug them?

I would call the shelter. at least it wont be running around and may get run over by a car. please do not do anything to harm the cat.

or better yet,

just adopt it. Put cat food where it always hangs outside your door if you dont want it going in your house.

otherwise, try spraying it with lemon juice & water.... or you can spray with mixed vinegar & water too. the vinegar and water doesnt work for my cat so i dont know if it will work for that cat.

does the cat have a collar?

Okay. I finally gave in and fed the cat after I left a bowl of water outside. Then, it also ate my steak. It looks like it's pregnant too. Geezes. Man, we lived here for a long time and this never happened.

This freaking cat is picky on what it eats I tell you. I grind some hot dogs and put it on the plate and it doesn't eat it. But, when I grind some cooked steak it hastly eats it. This is why I so want to kick it! Geezes, a freeloader and very picky. Dam cat!

Well, if tomorrow the cat is still here. I'm going to bring it to the shelter. I'm not going to spend time looking for the owner.

Don't cats dislike orange peels? Or is that something else...

now you're talking about almaty

well it is true..i lived on brother c'master out building for a week until..orange peelings

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

These stupid pet owners don't even realize that their pet is inside my house. I'm surprised they haven't even knocked door to door asking since the cat looks like it's well fed prior to me feeding it. So, my assumption is that the pet owner are neglecting their cat. I hate this cat because not only is it a freeloader it's picky with food.

You know because of that, I'm not going to let the cat sleep inside. It'll sleep outside instead.

You can call Neponset Valley Humane Society, they are based in Norwood, all volunteers and they have a no kill policy. 781-769-1990 http://www.nvhumanesociety.org/

You just know in a month from now Dr. Bohr is going to write in OT asking for suggestions on proper bedding for a female cat and her 6 kittens, and the best room in the house to keep them all.

I am more than sure you will be blessed in some way because of this. (L) If you can afford steak, you can afford cat food, which is very cheap in comparison. Too bad we didn't live close by, I would take the cat. I need all the blessings I can get.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Don't take it to a shelter. The cat probably has a good home already and is just staking out some territory for itself, especially if, as you say, it appears to be well fed. Taking it to a shelter may mean that its owners lose their family pet and that could cause a lot of heartache.

I once had a semi-feral cat sleep in our house back in the UK. We didn't feed it, because we had 2 cats of our own, and Shadow, as we called him, didn't let us get anywhere near him for about 6 months. But every night, he came in through the cat flap and slpt on the comfy carpet in out downstairs hallway.

Well, Shadow went missing for a few days. Then we got a knock on our door. It was the people whose garden backed on to ours. Shadow wasn't their cat either, but they had been feeding him and wanted to know if we'd seen him, because they knew he went straight from their house into our back yard!

Anyway, he came back a few days later. This went on for close on 6 years, until one day, he just never showed up. We missed him. :(

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

Sounds like Shadow might have been out doing a little "laundry"

Dam cats why can't they just live with their owners. Well, this morning the owner came and took the cat away. Thank you for saving me some steak! I told the owner I hate cats but this one keeps on rubbing his fur on me the more I push it away. And, that frantic meowing and scratching on my door kept me awake all night because it was freaky since it makes me think of the movie The Grudge. Well, I'm glad it's over.
