Hello,

I have my wife there in US and she is US Citizen and planning to file immigration for me.

Just wanted to know how much time it will take to get me VISA or Green card?

I heard that it is 6 months process. Is is right?

6 months is on the short side,

USCIS can take that long to process the petition and then there is NVC and Consulate.
