I have my wife there in US and she is US Citizen and planning to file immigration for me.

Just wanted to know how much time it will take to get me VISA or Green card?

I heard that it is 6 months process. Is is right?

6 months processing is the time USCIS states NOW is taking for petitions to be processed. Then comes the NVC, then waiting for interview. CSC has been pretty timely of processing before the 6 month mark hits.

To be on the safer side count it as 10-11 months. Read all the guides and be well prepared for the NVC, so you can fly through NVC.

No one can really estimate how much it will take at USCIS level, could get the petition approved within 15 days, could take 2 years. Also it depends upon which Service center you are going through. Best of luck!

I petitioned my wife the beginning of the year. We went through USCIS under the I-130 for three months.. Now, we are waiting for our case from NVC to be completed.. So far we are 5 months,, by the time we get the process done, maybe 6-8 months.. Good luck,,,

6 months if you fly through the process without any problems but we all know this process is a bumpy ride and (no offense-just reality) since you are from Pakistan I imagine waits. I suggest looking at the timelines from other people from Pakistan to get a better idea.
