Confusion re: creating bar codes

i was going thru the shortcuts on this site and there are suggestions of creating your own bar codes using links..... what if i dont want to go thru this confusing process of creating the bar codes (not to mention you can really really screw things up for urself if u dont know what u r doing) - can i still follow the shortcuts for all other matters like (finding out your case number, IIN, checking if DS3032 has been generated and then sending DS3032 forms, etc.) i am just wondering if someone can use the all mentioned shortcuts except the creating bar codes part.......

i understand the process would be a little longer but what r ur thoughts?

The short cuts are a bit out of date now that NVC has gone over to doing everything by Email.

Once your case gets sent to NVC phone everyday to get your case number, once that has been generated give the operator email addresses for both the petitioner and the beneficiary, from that point everything is done by email, DS-3032 (choice of agent) you email the choice back to them(there is a template in the wiki for this) and the AOS Fee bill, Once you have paid this on-line you then printout the bar code page they give you on the bill shows as paid, then the IV fee bill is generated and again you pay this online and another bar code page is generated you send them with the documents needed back to NVC by snail mail.
