I am deeply frustrated right now after receiving a RFE notice from USCIS about my medical exam.

Turns out to be, all of my medical forms (from St Luke's) was missing!! How the hell could it be missing???

When in fact that I didn't even open my brown envelope and pretty confident that all of my madical papers were in that brown packet.

If I had known that it didn't contain all of the necessary documents that should be in there, I could have thrown it away!!!

Now I have to redo all my medical!!!! How frustrating is that????!!!

It wasn't my fault! They should be at least calling the stupid staff at St. Luke's or the people of the Embassy where the hell those papers are!

Rather than us paying the mistake of those stupid people who can't even do their job!!!

We are not financially stable to do this. The whole medical is just insane... :crying::crying::crying::crying:

i get you!!! mine wasnt missing and all i should have done is to find a civil surgeon to transfer my slec papers to another form and signed and sent it together w/ my AOS file... but that surgeon (the whole clinic) wont sign it unless i have to undergo another medical. of course we didnt want to but they wont sign it and he's the only one affiliated in town... we paid $475 just to redo my medical exam and it was a completely bull...

i hope yours wont be as expensive as i mine if ever they want you to do the whole thing again... good luck!!!

$475? Wow! I got an RFE today because of this. It says there that I need to submit DS-2053, DS-3024, DS-3025 and DS-3026.

I only got a DS-3025 form after my medical. I don't even know what the other forms were about after I Googled it.

And it really seems like the full assesment, (physical and medical history) which had been done during my SLEC medical.

I hope we could at least get someone which is around $200. I hope everything will turn out good.

Thanks for sharing, sis!

can somebody in phil request for your med. exam result in slec??? not sure if its possible but who knows... or you can call them... otherwise you still need a civil surgeon here to transfer your data from slec (the one that they gave you after your medical)... and hoping you can get that result from slec in a sealed envelope (i dont thing we're suppose to see them or they may think we tampered it hmm)

I know that sis. Unfortunately, the whole medical done in the Philippines was lost during my AOS process.

I don't know where exactly it got lost.

It may be that St Luke's didn't attach all of the medical exam in the said packet, or it was already lost in the Embassy.

It could have been that the POE Immigration Officer misplaced it or the USCIS lost it upon transfer of AOS case to California.

I don't even know which department I should put the blame on..

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

Do you have an medical insurance right now? If yes, use it for your AOS medical requirements.

Thank you so much for this! We are looking to do any option that we could to skip the 'whole redo medical thing'.

We already had someone from the FBI look on our case and are optimistic that we won't be doing the medical again.

USCIS needs to stop doing this for some innocent applicants who are struggling to file AOS and totally ripping them off

with something that wasn't even the AOS applicant's fault.

They might think that we are the ones who are in need of it and would definitely do everything (paying the mistakes that they did) just to get a GC.

Did you have a Civil surgeon transfer your DS 3025 to a I-693 and submit it in a sealed envelope with the I-485?

Hi ToddnCezy...

I'm sorry to hear about this mess. I understand how frustrating it must be for you. The USEM "lost" my I-134 and my other financial papers after my fiancée's interview. The USEM called my fiancée four days after her interview and told her that they "lost" these papers, and asked her to submit another set of original papers (not copies).

When I found out about it, I called the USEM (011-63-2-301-2000 x5184 or x5185) and spoke to Grace (who is no longer in the department...so you may need to talk to Lorraine). Grace turned me over to the USEM caseworker (not the Consul Officer) who was handling our case. The caseworker admitted that he "misplaced" my papers.

I told him that I was not going to send my fiancée another set of original papers because it would cost me $50 for FedEx three-day delivery. It would also cost my fiancée at least three more days of hotel stay in Manila and also cost her to change her flight home to Bacolod. Worst of all, if my financial papers were lost, I could become the victim of identity theft.

The caseworker finally told me that it would not be necessary for my fiancée to submit any more papers. However, my fiancée submitted copies of my papers the same day...just to make sure that we would be OK. She received her visa the next week.

I am guessing that the USEM lost your medical. I am guessing that they have a record of receiving your medical in their computer files. How else would you have been able to complete your interview? Our caseworker admitted that he had a record of my fiancée submitting my I-134 and my financial papers. He simply "lost" the papers.

Maybe you can call the USEM and put the pressure on your caseworker to "find" your medical. If your caseworker "lost" your medical, I would complain to his superiors. I would also complain to your congressional representatives.

Good luck to you in sorting it out.

Wow, did you have the CIA look for your medical results as well?

Seems to me if you had a receipt and evidence of paying/ taking the SLEC medical exam, then you paid for RESULTS to be delivered to the USEM. If that did not happen, then they owe you the results, or a FREE exam to get the results that you paid for. Do you have proof to show that you indeed paid/took the exam? Treat this like something you bought at Ayala mall, and now your item is broken or missing from itz box , and now you are returning for a refund because the store failed to deliver what you paid for, sis.

You clearly have not lived in the Philippines...... The notion of accountability and customer service is , how should i say, noticeably absent there.

That said, of course, as the OP points out there are many many transfer points along the way were the medical results coould have become misplaced or lost. So no telling where the negligence occurred. It sucks, but the easiest away past this situation is to have a new medical done in the US by a CS and forward it to USCIS , as requested by the RFE.

Good luck to the OP.
