Nexus pass while waiting for K1

So since you are a U.S. PR - is there any reason you have to go back to Canada to do the interview - or could you have done it in the U.S.?

I'm just thinking about getting a Nexus card for us and i'm wondering where the nearest interview center is - can't find a list on their website. From what I am reading we can do the interview in the U.S. - just wondering if they have them in Orlando.

Here's what I found on that...

"The NEXUS program allows pre-screened, low risk travelers to be processed with little or no delay by United States and Canadian officials at designated highway lanes at high volume border crossing locations, at a NEXUS kiosk at the Canadian Preclearance airports, and at certain marine reporting locations in the Great Lakes and Seattle, Washington regions"

Yeah when I went to go choose from the list of Interview locations, they were all border crossings. So I think if I have to go to a boarder crossing, might as well go home.

The thing that SUCKS is they only give you 30 days to do the interview Kinda short notice.

hey guys- has any one had ANY experience with contacting someone at nexus? I had no clue that I was going to have to schedule an interview within 30 days of my conditional approval and now i think i may not be able to get to a border before July 2nd!! I wonder if extensions can be had?

If you have one at an airport it will take longer to get the interview. I remember that when I printed off my actual interview paper/date confirmation there was something on it in small print about if you have to change your interview date call such in such number.
