ok thank you ! rates went up a lot! :-( 355$ US, that means around 400$ CAD...oops

Lucky you are doing the CR-1 / IR-1 visa and NOT a K-Visa.

Adjustment from a K-Visa costs $1010.

You need to deposit the visa fee to Scotia Bank in advance of the appointment.

Payment of the filing fee for each I-130 of US$355. Payment may be in cash or credit card if applying in person. If initially by mail to Toronto, it may be by US$ money order or cashier's check. A receipt is returned to the petitioner after filing.

Hello

I would like to know the fees to deposit the I130 Form because I read 355$ US on the USCIS website and I read 190$ US in some posts here.

I am a bit confused

Can we pay cash or not at the consulate?

thank you

Hi and welcome to VJ,

First of all, I do not believe that you are required to pay the $131 application fee online as someone mentioned, if you look at the Montreal site - that is only for non-immigrant visas - since you are obviously applying for a CR1 or IR1 this does not apply to you.

All embassies/consulates will generally take U.S. cash - some even take credit cards. Which consulate are you applying at?

There is a review here from someone who recently applied at the Calgary consulate, you might find that useful.

Also drop by the Canada forum, lots of people who can give you help with Canada specific information :)

OP is DCF so the $131 is the wrong fee.... they will need to pay $400 for the visa application fee in addition to the I-130 fee

YMMV
