still waiting on DS-3032

I know I know, I shouldn't whine and I've just got to wait. Still curious though. I was so glad to be done with USCIS but it's been 10 days now since a case number was assigned at NVC and still nothing. I fear this is a bad sign for the rest of our processing at NVC. I've checked out a lot of other people's signatures and it seems like everyone else has gotten it after around 5 or 6 days.

Has it taken anyone 10 days or longer for the DS-3032 to be generated?

I've checked the case numbers for the days around mine and all but one say that the DS-3032 has been generated or for some even received already! So disheartening...

We are coming up on a holiday here in the states. Memorial Day, so I exspect things to be a little slow. You will hear something really soon. It's not a bad sign at all. I am praying for the NVC to complete my case. I don't think the anxiety stops until we get our spouse their citizenship. Have you tried calling the NVC to inquire about your DS3032?

Thanks for the ideas guys.

I've been practically spamming them (politely, once a day) emailing them the DS-3032 in the hopes that by time someone actually reads the email it will have been generated. Guess I'll just continue with that.

And I call them faithfully every day and the operator says it will take 4-6 weeks, every case is different, no i can't see your case it's in a file room, no you cannot speak to a supervisor. So no luck there.

Just seems silly that I've followed all the shortcuts- our AOS and IV packages are in the addressed express mail envelopes just begging to be mailed!

Oh well. Thanks again. And good luck with your case complete muslimlady- wow your I-130 moved quickly!

Don't abuse their email too much.

When you send DS-3032 via email, they will check it and respond to you within 7~10 days timeframe.

So wait for 7~10 days after sending email request.

You will get acknowledgement for email receipt for your email same day or next day.

Then you will get the response for the process within 7~10 days.

Make sure that you will send emails with plain text, not HTML format.

Got the DS-3032 via email! Tenth day's the charm.

I'm convinced VisaJourney is lucky. Everytime I post something freaking out about it all going wrong and taking too long... it all goes right within hours. It's amazing!

Thanks for the responses everyone :)

Probably that means that you need more patience.

Yes, I know. It's hard to have patience when you have loving one in far away.

But dealing with USCIS/NVC/US Embassy for immigration visa matter is always waiting game to learn patience.

I know I need to learn the patience more. :crying:

If I behave good, does Santa drop the magic approval notice for everything regarding USCIS/NVC/US Embassy Consular officer ? :crying:

so you finally got it.

the more you long for something the more impatient you get,

playing devils advocate, try to be more patient, as you still have waiting games ahead of you.

best of luck the upcoming process.
