Okay, I am taking the advice of a lot of people and filling my waiting time with preparing for the interview while waiting for the NOA2 (still waiting on the NOA1 for that matter :) ).

On the I-134 question 8, do I record my ex-wife as a dependent for support? I still have 8 yrs + required for paying alimony, which is her only main source of income at this time??

Ex-wife (alimony or not) is not (necessarily) a dependent - presumably you do not count her as a dependent on you tax returns.

Thankfully no. I just want to make sure that I avoid any pitfalls. I want to get my Fiancee and her daughter here as quickly and as smoothly as possible so we can start our life together.

Moving this one to consulate embassy forum, The I-134 is needed for the visa interview at the consulate.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I have studied this for two days now, (off and on , I DO have another life) and I am going to say "NO". I found no specific reference that she would be counted and...

She is not truly a "dependent". You are obligated to pay her alimony. This is like a "bill", a debt. Debts are not considered in this process. She is not truly "dependent". You must pay $XXX per month, period. How she lives, what she does, how she pays her bills are not your concern. If she is sick, you do not pay medical bills. You do not feed her, you do not pay for her house (well, maybe you do, but not directly :)) I can find no reference that makes her anything more or less than a "car payment" ...without the ride. :P

I vote NO. Please if my reasoning and research are flawed, someone correct me.

One exception...IF she was an immigrant you petitioned and for which you were still obligated under a previous I-864, then the answer is YES.
