The only evidence of marriage you submit with the I-485 is the marriage certificate (obviously you must submit the other support documents outlined in the AOS Guide). Anything else would be brought to the interview if one is scheduled.

We are working on our AOS right now too and our layer suggested to includ some wedding pictures and bills we already have together.

If you send more evidence, it won't hurt. Who knows, maybe your file will get transffered and you won't need an interview.

If you have a K3, you only send the approval notice w/ AOS (I485). The other poster is adjusting from a different status, so needs a I130 too. For K3, your I130 is already approved.

Hi. My husband and I are in the process of gathering our bona fide marriage evidence and would like to know what types of documents we could provide other than our marriage certificate, joint bank account statement, a copy of the medical card I will be issued after he added me to his plan? You see, I am a Canadian citizen, I came here in February as a visitor (as I have been doing for over a year) and after a marriage proposal and much discussion we decided to get married while I was here and for me to stay and adjust my status. Now obviously this has left a lot of loose ends in Canada but we have managed to sort that out during the past 5 months (thankfully I have very patient and understanding family and friends) however, since I can't get my name put on many things here because I either don't have a US SSN and subsequently a job or a US driver's license etc. we aren't sure if we have enough evidence. Do you think the evidence I have mentioned will be sufficient? Additionally, do we have to send evidence of non-immigrant intent with our application? Or do we just bring that (if and) when there is an interview? Does anyone have any information regarding submitting the actual forms as well? I have seen that some people put each application in a separate folder and then put all appropriate folders into one large envelope with one cover letter. And hole punching at the top of the forms instead of on the side is preferred? Does anyone know? Thanks so much for any information you can provide.
