Hi Vjers,

Lately ive been stuck in the middle (like most vjers), since I have a job offer but unfortunately no EAD. I applied in the last week of April, and 90 days would have passed at the end of July. Is it true if I book an Infopass appointment they issue a temporary EAD? Are there any pre-requisites which need to be met for the temp. EAD (using Infopass)? And lastly have people had any luck getting an temporary EAD (using Infopass) before the 90 days have passed?

All EADs are temporary, none are permanent - they all expire.

Booking an InfoPass appointment will not necessarily result in the issuance of an interim EAD. 90 days must have passed since a completed application was received. Some DOs and SOs do not consider the application complete until the photo and fingerprint session has been done.
