No appointment needed. First come first served. Everything I read in VJ is the best time is to go right after lunch hour say 1pm. And also to not go on Monday as everyone does that. That is why Grace is going Tuesday afternoon. Also to not go on a Friday because she has to come back for immunizations and everything is delayed by the weekend. Plus the sooner the better in case additional tests are requested. Maybe other members have better advice. Good luck!

Thanks, Bluerose! Really appreciate it! Good luck to those who will have their medical soon! Hope you all PASS! :)

Hi,

Person at the releasing counter is right he cant inform you of the medical results since it is sealed and will be forwarded to the US embassy but if there was a problem or you didnt passed, medical personnel at SLEC will tell you out right if you need further tests.

So I guess it means you passed.. congrats and good luck on your interview.

Bluerose

Hi, I just finished my medical exam yesterday (May 22nd). How do you guys know that you "passed"? If you go through immunization and the SLEMC personnel told you that your passport and medical results will be forwarded to the US embassy, does that mean you are good to go? I am concerned because I specifically asked the person at the releasing counter and he said they can't inform me that what the medical results are...

My hubby's interview is on June 8. He had his medical exam on May 20 and 21 and passed it with flying colors. BTW, he said St Luke's took his passport and the clinic personnel said they will forward the results to the USEM. Is it normal for them to take the passport? Aside from the appointment letter from NVC, I'm kinda worried that he may also need his passport to get in at the Embassy on his interview date.

Goodluck to all of us and may God bless us all! :star:

Hi! It is usual for SLMEC to take your hubbys' passport. They will forward it directly to the USE. What your hubby needs to enter the embassy are his original appointment letter from the US embassy and two identification cards that have his photo on it. (basing on my experience)...... Godluch to your hubby
