sisteer cindi, i have questions about the medication if this is a real issue and not a troll..seldom is prozac and paxil used in combination as they are similar in nature..be like being prescribed aspirin and tylenol for a headache...also, if she drinks ..why take it at all as it lessens the effect...

I think its a real situation...Ive seens many women that are like that....You need to get out of the situation..Put your foot down, dont give her money pay the rent cause you need a roof over your head and dont give her money...Cash your check and hid your money...Return that car that she has or sell it..Get your money that you put into...Just take the car and go sell it..

Dont show her that you need her let her know she needs you..Organise your life..If you do need a car sell it and get a used one with some cash..If she asks what your doing..Say honey look Im organizing our life..Tell her you need me to be a man and pay the bills then I will take care of the finances and do what I see is fit. If you would like to contribute with decisions I sugguest you help out..

1.You either take care of the household as in cook and clean and maintain the house hold and respect our home and finances (then she can contribute with decisions)

2. You get a job and we share decisions and both help equally with maintaining the home and the bills..

Your just as wrong as she is for letting it go on..If she is abusing drugs and or alchol get off your behind go to the local court house and go to the clerks office and have her vacoracted...She needs help and your wrong for leaving her like that...Tell them she is a danger to herself..

3. Stop worrying about a green card and worry about your life and your wife's safety.

4. If she threatens you that she will call this and that you camly state to her that you are working and you have done nothing ileagle and that you are more then ready to defend yourself.

Well done Ayman, the only sensible advice given on here apart from the jobless few who think a throll is jobless but have posted way more than the troll himself without any useful info, quite ironic. Sort your life out cool, a green card is not worth all that stress esp from someone you 'love'. All the best.

If you did AOS correctly, she should have signed a paper saying that she is responsible to SUPPORT YOU for at least 10 years or until you get citizenship.

Next time she pulls the "Im going to USCIS office" to you, respond with "So am I, with the 864 signed by you in hand"

Incorrect - read up on the I-864...

It's 40 qtrs of work (by the beneficiary) which will take 10 years to do. If they don't work, then it will take longer.

Also, if either one of them dies, the affidavit is voided.

If the beneficiary leaves the US (abandons the LPR status), it's void.

And the petitioner would only be responsible if the government (state/federal) sues them for the money used for "means tested" benefits.

The beneficiary would have to attempt to sue the petitioner to get any kind of support for them.

It's not an automatic - "Heres 18K a year for life".
