just making sure if its okay that my husband got his TD shots and not the Tdap---doesnt have a check next to that (DS-3025) but the TD was done. not sure if they just didnt have that shot available or he just didnt need it.

he has MMR and everything else done...

does he need the tdap done??

When you visit the US Civil surgeon to get the vaccinations record transfered to the I-693 the doctor will know what is needed for your age group.

Tetanus tends to be needed. You can get this done by your doctor, or perhaps county health department.

so i looked at his doctor letters and it says all the things his doctor game him earlier this year...including Tdap but that isnt checked off on the DS-3025. i sent the aos today so if we get a rfe ill have to send them the letter from his family doctor that is signed and sealed

Looking at the DS3025 find the column that says:

Completed Series

(checkmark) if completed,

write "VH" if varicella history, or

write date of lab test if immune)

He should have a check mark by everything that's completed. It the Td, Tdap line has a checkmark, then he's done.

If Varicella has VH, meaning he had chickenpox, he's okay

If the next set of columns say not aga appropriate, he's okay.

Most everything will be covered in that way. If anyting is totally blank by an immunization, then he may need that.

Thats exactly what he has.... our ds3025 sheet has a box with td and tdap and two little boxes under each. his td is checked off but the other isnt....so im sure this is fine and he has the vh and not age appropriate in the other space. so i guess we are good to go!
