 Hi everyone.... can someone please answer my question??? even though our lawyer has told us it's ok i'm really worried about our K1 application because i was denied entry under the visa waiver program priar to our process! i was denied because they said i did hold enough evidence to financily support myself for the ammount of time i was staying but was also told this was not a case of deportation and i have not committed a criminal offence and was advised to go through the K1 process by the immaration staff at detriot airport. does anyone know if this is going to against me? please tell me straight....lawyer says its fine? not really sure myself??? from Jay and Terri (deeply in love) i miss you my darling Edited by J'n'T

Nothing to worry about, denial of a NON-Immigrant visa (VWP) has no issue on the K-Visa unless the reason for denial is the same type of reason for inadmissibility, for example overstaying a visa by more than 180 days.

Moving this to consulate/embassy forum. Denials happen at the visa interview stage.

No problem. Except you paid a lawyer lots of money to tell you what we will for free.

Unless you were denied for some reason which results in a "bar" to future visas it is no problem. My wife was denied for a tourist visa prior to us applying for the K-1 and it was absolutely not an issue.

VERMONT! I Reject Your Reality...and Substitute My Own!
