Just a little side note - few people take the time or energy to honestly look at this issue from both sides. It is easy, especially by watching US media to assume all Palestinians are crazy Islamic fundamentalists hell bent on destroying Israel. All Palestinians are not Muslims - there are Christian Palestinians. Also, it isnt' fair to say "well if they just stopped doing this than Israel would back off and be nice to them. They are fighting back for a reason, and are fighting back with the only means they have. Isreal is occupying Palestinian territory illegally. What if Canada were occupying US territory illegally. You can't tell me people wouldn't fight back with whatever means they had.

I'm not saying that suicide bombings are 'alright' - i'm simply saying look at it objectively. They're pissed off and they should be. Don't give Israel a blanket A-ok to do whatever they want but wag your finger at the "naughty Palestinians" - there are two sides to every issue, it just seems in this one we're content to look the other way when it comes to Israel's terrorist activities.

I just think it's wrong to condemn an entire population or type of person. Should we next say:

1) All North Koreans are terrorists that want to nuke the rest of the world

2) Russian businessmen are all crooks who are destroying the lives of average Russians

3) Brazilian gang members in Rio represent the majority opinion in Brazil

4) Drug dealers are the only kind of Columbians

5) All Mexicans must be illegal immigrants, draining our resources

6) Germans are all Nazis who really can't wait to find the Final Solution

7) Americans are all ignorant, fat people.

I don't agree with any of those statements. Some fit some don't. But we care enough to look at those issues objectively. Why is this one so different?

you think the rewording retains the same meaning? very interesting. the first version is more offensive than the second, the second is quite watered down. yet the most interesting thing is the op of that statement has not been back.
