Hello

well we got our Visa expedited since my bf will Deploy in October.

We got our Hardcopy NOA2 yesterday (Date on Letter: May 13th) and now im confused. What are the next steps what will happen?

I read that theyll send it to NVC? what is NVC? how do I know where my Data is right now?

On the I-129 Approval it said that they will forward the information the consulate now. will they skip the NVC because of the expedite?

Im a little lost and hope you can help me. Thank you!

National Visa Center: call 603-334-0700 press 1 and then press 5 to speak to a live customer service representative. Have your receipt # ready! and DOB & Name of the beneficiary & petitioner for verifications.

Then if the case was received by NVC, the NVC will issue you a new case # that starts with the embassy that your interview will be held at.

thank you so much for the information and nice words!!

Then if the case was received by NVC, the NVC will issue you a new case # that starts with the embassy that your interview will be held at.

if they give me the new casenumber i could already go and do the medical part, right? I read somewhere that all i need is the Casenumber. is that true?

No when you have your case number, then you wait for packet # 3 from your embassy with specific information regarding your medical. I wouldn't go get a medical until embassy has received & input your case into their database.

So, now, you call NVC, and then you wait until you receive your packet # 3... then you follow the directions. Each embassy operates differently from here onward.

Good luck!
