Hi guys, i just want to ask if anybody here encountered like this.

(1) I will be having my interview next week, my fiance filled up 02 instead of 12 as date of my birthdate on my I-129f petition form.

I am somehow confident that its gonna be fine, anyway i have all the documents that can prove my correct birthdate

Is this a possibility that can mess up with our visa approval? or a possibility that will put our papers under AR?

I am going to the interview with positive thoughts that we will gonna be approved, i just want to get some tips how should i handle this just in case the consul bring up this issue? or what if he didn't notice shall i bring it up? i thought of doing so, i want to be honest even though its just a minor typographical error(as the way i see it)

(2) is there a safe place near USEM Manila where my companion can hang out while waiting for me having my interview?

I hope all are having a good day!

thank you guys! ;)

The NVC screwed up my fiance's name on the notice of forwarding my petition to the USEM. So, when I called to book her interview appoinment, the lady at the Embassy said that could cause a problem witht the visa, She told me to have my fiance' FAX over her NSO which would verify her CORRECT NAME. I imagine that a mistake in your birthdate wouldn't be a good thing!

If you cannot find the USEM fax number here, have your fiance call back with his PIN and obtain that from one of the reps there. Then, fax over your NSO birth certificate immediately. It's one thing to bring all of the docs with you, but you don't want to have them reschdule you because they have to spend time updating your birthdate.

That's the best advice I can give. Hope it helps you.
