Hi I been reading here off and on would like some help?

my wifes and stepson I-130's were approved but know just got a email saying my I-129f denied I know we have to go with a consular processing this is a cr/1 visa correct? does anybody know how long this will take in Jamaica?

also my wife called the USCIS were someone told here all she has to do is a adjustment of status I never heard of doing that before your even in the country! now she is hell bent on that and driving me crazy with it!

anyone with any idea what is going would be greatly appreciated

we have a lawyer and he does not help much

does anyone know how soon after the interview you receive you package, our interview in on the 24 of December this Thursday we were hoping to travel to have new years celebration with my husbands family in florida,

Hello, we need more information to be able to help you. I am going to assume your wife and stepson is in JA. Are you presently, living here in the USA? If your wife and step-son is here in the USA too, then you would be doing an AOS, if not then you should procedd with the CR1. Don't worry about doing the K3, because it takes the same amount of time that a CR1 does.

Once your CR1 is sent to NVC, it can take as little as a month to be approved, then about a month after that to get an interview. The CR1 is better for your family, because they will enter the USA with a CG if all is approved.

Yes I am her in the states yeah the k3 was denied still waiting on why? probably cause you don't need it since the I-130 were approved just lost some time with even dealing with the k3 soo I think but I dont know much

Okay, this is where you will be in the process, if you chose to follow the CR1. Please refer to this site here and follow this process, this will help you greatly.

Just forget about the K3, do the Cr1, in the long run it will be cheaper. Under the CR1, you adjust staus before they come s to the states. That is additional cost of 400 dollars per person, rather than the 1010.00 per person later.
