Question regarding child birth

I'm pretty sure I have all the answers I need, but I would like to ask this question before I FED EX the final documents my wife will need for her visa interview.

Her visa interview is this coming June 3rd, and my question pertains to our newborn baby. Aside from including him on our I-134 form, do we need to notify USEM of his birth? Since we will be getting his CRBA and US passport, I am not actually petitioning for him, I am only petitioning my wife. I read in the instructions that any changes in status should be notified to the Visa center via in writing or phone call prior to the visa interview. Such status changes include marriages, births and deaths. When I called to reschedule her visa interview from April 28 to June 3, they asked why I was changing the appointment, and I told them it was due to the birth of our son and that she could not travel immediately. If anyone can help answer my question, it would be appreciated. Thanks again :)

Do you already have all the required documentation for the crba? If so I would contact the embassy so maybe she can get her visa and your sons passport all approved at the same interview. My fiance just had her interview but we were still waiting on the bc from the NSO so they told her that her visa woud be approved but they would hold it until she sent in her crba packet and comes back to get our daughters passport. So she sent the packet in last week and now we are waiting for the embassy to call her to schedule the interview for our daughter so she can get her U.S passport. Hope this helps.

IT'S NOT THE DESTINATION ITS THE JOURNEY...AND WHAT A JOURNEY IT HAS BEEN

Thank you soooo much from both of us!!! As usual, it's normal to feel high anxiety before the interview. We both want to make sure that we have all the correct documents prior to the interview. I am planning on shipping the final documents to her this week via UPS. It will only take two days for her to receive them, so at least I know what to send to her now. I'll make sure she has my notarized consent form for the CRBA as well as the other things she needs for "her" interview. Once again, thanks again from myself, my wife and baby Jojo :) Good luck to your family as well
