Has anyone every changed an address while at a service center?

I noticed that I did not put a zip code in my fiance's address. ( they use other numbers, CEP #'s )

I called the national call center and explained to them, they took the correct CEP #, and informed me that I would receive an email when it was updated. I still have not received an email that it has been changed. My case is still pending now with no touch's, no additional RFE's, since 4/15/09, and certainly no emails for update on address. Does this mean anything?

if you want to change or update the beneficiary address, you can wait until the consulate recives it, then you can email them for the update.

Since you have a pending case - you can use the online AR-11/Change of Address (on USCIS's site) and you should get a snail-mail confirmation. The change you did submit (via telephone) very likely did get done, but just for piece of mind. You may want to follow up with the Embassy/Consulate once your petition gets to them (months from now). Otherwise that's about all you can do.

By the way - your timeline indicates an RFE (04/14)...not sure if that's by error...

They received the RFE on 4/14, last update on uscis site is 4/15. Yes, they are taking there 2 month lunch break on my time!!! I'm convinced that it is there screw up that is holding the case, because I received 2 RFE's. One pertained to my previous marriage, the other contained 2 names of whom do not appear on our I-129, and is no relation to the beneficiary or myself, but yet had our eac #, and both our names on the RFE. I thought the letter would clear this up, but I'm almost convinced they can't read there at vsc.

I'm not sure how long it took for the letter to arrive. I changed it on the USCIS website, after I registered of course, and then called to make sure it was really completed. Then i would guess it was a few days to a week when I received the letter.
