We have just submitted our I129-f. It asks for the address that you will be living at when you move to the states. I used the address that my fiancee shares with his mother when he is home. He is in the US army, and currently resides in barracks. Now his mom is going to be moving into her bf's place so he will no longer have that address. When we get approved we will get a house on post, but until then if asked again what do I put for the address that I will be living, since technically there is not one (as of yet).

Thanks for the advice,

Colleen

It really doesn't matter at this point, since you are the benificiary. (I will take it that your address in your country is still current).

When you get to the embassy stage, you will be filling out new paperwork, and you can put in your new address at that time.

(only your petitioner has to be worried about current address now, since that is where they send the NOA's and other info - so he should make sure that is up to date.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
