hi everyone esp. those filipina fiancee applicants who did it good during the medical examination...

i have a question regarding vaccinations..is it being asked by SLH doctors as to what kind of vaccination/shots u already got during childhood? as u know i was born in 1975 and i went to the local health center in my place to get my vaccination record but was frustrated to find out its not in their file anymore considering its 3 decades old...have u got same experience like mine? and what did u do, what were u told to do and how did it go during ur interview at the hospital? by the way, i had 2 shots taken last month and im planning for another shot (flu) this June because everyone is goin crazy over the swine flu issue which is for me a serious matter..so i think it'll be 1 of the major types of vaccination to get now...

I will appreciate if u can give me MORE info regarding the medical and physical examinations u had... i just wanna be ready and confident when that moment comes...thank you so much for ur time in replying to my post

more blessings to u and wish u good luck in ur married life...

In my experience, the doc asked me if i had vaccinations before. She never asked for a proof. so i got the same question, kelangan pa ba ng vaccination record since they never asked that from me.

It is ok if you don't have your vaccination records with you on your medical. Ask ka lang naman ng doctor on what are the vaccines you had when you were a kid. Yung mga vaccines na natatandaan mo. Tas ask nya rin yung peklat sa shoulderblade mo kung meron ka. Ask nya rin if you ever had chicken pox. if yes, you need to show the scar kung hindi mo mapakita yung scar eh bibigyan ka nila ng shot for chicken pox.

About sa physical naman, make sure that you are not on your monthly period during your medical. The doc will ask for you to undress but she will give you a robe naman to wear. She will ask on where did you get the scars that you have. The doctor is very strict if you have scar on your wrist. the doc will ask on why you have it kasi they will think that you had suicidal attempt. I know someone that has a scar on her wrist and never had suicidal attempt pero she didn't had any choice, pinagpsychiatric evaluation cya which delayed her medical approval and cost her additional fee.

About naman sa recent shots that you had eh ipakita mo nalang yung vaccination record mo if meron. Good luck! :star:

Flu shots here are of different strain as compared to flu shots there.

My doctor said that if I was moving to US, might as well get the shot there.

however, if you are prone to getting the flu, ayos yang flu shot na yan.

U need to take vaccination shots all in all thats 3 shots, no varicella vaccination in the 1975, so we have to take it so no worries about it, just take medical and done with it GL....
