From the hellhole in Central Ontario -- Guelph. Home of the lame, bored and the weird...

Are you kidding me?? Guelph is by NO means the "hellhole" in Central Ontario. I am from Guelph and seriously, if you think THAT is a "hellhole" then you obviously need to get out more :P

That was the problem, I did get out too much. All my good friends all moved away when we could. Actually it was my friend who termed it "The city of the Lame, bored and the weird".

Ok to to visit once every few years, just to see how things changed, but that's about it. Now they're having a big drug problem there and hearing the city is getting more and more degraded...

Wouldn't you say that about every canadian place you've been though? :P

No my friends and I loved going to Toronto on Saturdays by bus. I actually liked Windsor when I was going to school, but then after graduating college with my degree and having to actually find work in the auto plant, I start to hate living there more and more...

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...

Vancouver. Holla!

So many of you are from Ontario! I've always wanted to go there.

That's because most of us live within 2 hours of the border.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard
