how long it will take me to get a license

i dont have a license in paksitan

please explain me the procedure.

do i have to go to a driving school or i can learn it on my own in a ground with the help of anyone who has a license and then take test??

This question is STATE specific. Please tell us in which state you are/will be and ask members from that state for more info.

virginia is the state i am going to live in.

anyone who can explain me in brief way so its easy for me

I am not from VA.. but i think if you r 16-18 you might need driver's ed. but u culd always get a learners' permit

You may learn how to drive from family/friend as long as you pass the exam (per state req)

Most state:

Written exam

Driving test

As for how long will it take depends on your location ... and how busy the your dmv is.... you have to make an appointment for these tests.

Go to http://www.dmv.org/ where you can find out everything you need to know for the state you live in. :thumbs:

5/05 I-485 Touched (This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred)(30 days)

5/12 I-485 Touched

5/15 EAD Card Production Ordered and AP Approval notice sent

5/18 EAD/AP Touched

5/21 AP Received by Mail (44days)

5/22 EAD Received by Mail (45days)

6/25 GC card production ordered!
