Calling all the Filipina who just left PI and for those who just got in Us...

I wanna ask those filipina who left Phil with their newborn baby...R u guys paying for the travel tax and terminal fee of ur baby at the airport??how much??..just wanna make sure cuz I only want to bring enough peso for those fee's...Me and my 1 yr old and 3 months baby is leaving on friday so I can save peso for that fee's...any replies will much appreciated =)

i guess none for your 1year and 3months old baby

it is indicated here

Terminal fee(for 2 years old and above)550php

security fee (for 2 years old and above) 200php

but i paid almost 1,700plus before as i reacall just bring atleast 2,000php to be sure..........

i also asked my husband he almost payed 1,200 and i guess i do the same thing too

but if i where u just bring extra money atleast 1,500php

if not just bring the exact amount as indicated..........and no more arguements..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think 750 for departure taxes I am not sure about the 1600 depende ata sa ticket

uhmmmmm... ok intindi ko na po sis ano ibig mo sabihin kc di naman nya nasagot ung question mo about the fees on the babies travelling with the parent.. uhmmmmmm, pero nakalagay don is para sayo alng and baka matagal na ung fee na un hehehe, baka iba na ngaun....

Your child is exempted from travel tax. See http://www.philtourism.gov.ph/ttax.html#t_tax_rates

But you have to prepare 750 each for the terminal fee, i guess for both of you.

There is no harm in keeping extra peso in your wallet. You could still use that, in case you plan to have a vacation in the philippines.
