It may have been an issue of setting up a second interview with your husband - it was a decision taken instead of returning it is what my thought is.

Please try your hardest to contact the embassy, it is crucial that you do otherwise it could mean waiting several more months. Is it possible for him to go there and speak to anyone at the embassy or ay citizen hotline?

May God be with you, try to contact the embassy get the senator congressman everyone right now, this is when you need help the most in your case.

I have sent 4 emails to the Embassy and I am still waiting to hear from them. He called twice and was told to email them. The senators office also sent an Email and as of Friday had not heard from them. The senators office is being very supportive and helpful. DOS told the senators office the same thing that I was told, wasnt much help. The strange thing is that DOS says on the 14th the case was sent back to US the call my husband missed from the Embassy was on the 18. I am trying not to worry too much until I find out what the problem is. Hopefully I will find something out today.

Tammy thnaks for all your prayers and thoughts it is a great comfort to me

Yes, so there is a 4 day discrepency between the supposed return and the embassy phone call. The decision can be reversed, I feel that the whole phone call from the embassy was for a second interview in place of returning the petition. I hope the embassy e-mails back, also know that USCIS does not want cases they have alredy approved back, there has been many articles on that. The embassy may have decided to ask for additional documents instead of sending bak the case. God-willing, this it will stay at the embassy and the visa will be issued soon.

HI

Unfortunately I did receive an email from the Embassy and they stated that the case was sent back on May 14 I still dont know why so I am waiting for a letter from USCIS hopefully it is something minor the Embassy was trying to contact my husband to see how they should return the documents. I am just trying not to worry about it.

Ya I don't think you should worry and panic and be in a bad situation. Remember the worse case scenairo is the case has to go through USCIS and may take several more months but hopefully it is a minor issue. Praying for a good result from your case.

Laurarajesh - similar to that, cases are always simultaneously at the embassy and wherever they send it, so even if it was wired to USCIS, the checks were continued at the embassy, from my understanding. Hope you issue is resolved.

God bless,

Tam

Don't loose hope now, you just need to be proactive. If you look at my signature, you'll see how long it took us but I think the service is improving. Our case was reaffirmed just this week without any request for additional evidence which means any reason the silly COSOF must have put on his reason for sending it back didn't hold water. Just have your congress person keep track of your case. All the best and you really need to work on your relationship now 'cos this will be a trying period.
