Wow! What a ride, eh?

So, after the above mentioned events, we sent a kind but firm letter back to the embassy, asking them to review our application and asked if the income from the one sponser was ok. Again, the issue is the person doing my wife's interview said that he wanted I-864's for the whole household which, for various personal (but not illegal)reasons, we didn't want to supply. I mean, we would have if they pressed the issue.

We were really worred that the embassy would have chided us on questioning their authority, would have thown out our application because we broke etiquette...it's funny the thoughts that run through your head during these times.

Well, instead of rejecting the application, they simply said they needed one more piece of paper (which we knew they needed, a copy of our single sponsor's passport)

Copy went out around the first of June, Visa was granted on the 18th of June!

Oh, you didn't get that? Here, let me repeat that: WE GOT THE VISA!!!!

:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

What a long, strange trip!

I just want to thank everyone here on these boards, the community of VisaJourney are the best people in the world, and we never, ever would have come this far without all your help!!!!

Keep it up, God Bless and take care!
