Hi all!

My fiance (US petitioner) received the NOA2 two weeks ago by mail.

I am waiting for the next step but it's not very clear what I have to do. I read the guidelines and it seems my next step is to send to the Consulate the packet 3. I still didn't receive it and I didn't hear from the Consulate (Naples, Italy) anything about my case. At this point I know that USCIS doesn't deal with my visa anymore.

Anybody can clear my mind about what I have to do.

Many thanks for your support!

AC

About 2 weeks after NOA2 USCIS sends packet to NVC for forwarding to consulate. It may sit at NVC for a few weeks to a month befor it gets sent to consulate.

You can start gathering and preparing the required docs for interview.

I-134 from US Citizen petitioner,

Police certs

Birth Cert

Passport

Fill out DS-156, DS-230, DS-157, etc..

Moving this to consulate embassy forum.

Thank you very much, I will wait even though I remember some threads saying that they never receive packet 3 and they had to request it. Will they send it to the home address of the beneficiary?

Do you know at this point how much it will cost me for these next forms to fill?

Thanks again!

Only costs at the consulate stage are $131 fee, and what ever the medical charges.

The forms are available on line here: http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/forms/forms_1342.html

The I-134 needs to be filled out by your US Citizen fiancee and sent to you.
