Hi Guys,

I communicate with my fiancee in China using telephone, qq, and rarely emails. To prove our relationship when my fiancee goes to see in US official in GuangZhou, does she need to bring some regular post office letters?

Thanks.

Very helpful to include them.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

A few things,

The VO looks at the totality of the communications, in our case I never used normal landline to communicate with my wife, we always used Skype, and Yahoo messenger, I printed out chat logs, and a log of emails, as well as many sample emails.

SECOND and more important the consular officers in guangzhou are tough and tend to DENY visas to the unprepared, the best place to learn as much as you can about GUZ is to join and study the FAQs on "A Candle for Love" http://candleforlove.com

Profile details PLEASE! http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...rCP&CODE=01 (You are CHINA, NOT N/A, and filef dor a K-1, not N/A)

:time:http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=66854 (Shows Armenia, but you are talking about China) to update timeline click My Assistant above and select update timeline.

Moving this to the Consulate/Embassy forum.

There are no specific requirements for proof of a bonafide relationships.

However Your job is to also do better than the scammers and I doubt if scammers would take the trouble to write love letters.

Send cards also. Xmas, Birthdays, Easter etc.

"MORE AMMO THE BETTER".

We made a point of both of us sending something frequently. CO didn't look at the stack of cards and letters but we had tons of other evidence also.

Better safe than sorry.

There will be hundreds and thousands of pages of chat logs and email logs. What a waste of paper. Anyway, if that's expected, I'll just have to follow. Thanks.
A log may show that you chatted on a date, and does not need to show what you chatted about, most messengers will log when you chatted, and some will record the chat session too.

QQ has an export function to export all the messages. Does anyone know how to export just the time -- a condensed version? Right now I am looking at almost a thousand pages of messages -- and my NOA1 notice day is just 05/09. We'll have several thousands of pages when my fiancee goes to the interview. Any help?
