Hi,

I'm a conditional GC holder, and my wife is a US citizen. I was wondering if i need any other documents other than my conditional Green card and my passport, to take a 4 day cruise to Bahamas.

After doing my research, if my stay is going to be for less than 30 days, then all i need is gc and passport. I was wondering if this is indeed true;

Thanks

Once you have a GC (conditional or not), you are a permanent resident and can travel wherever and whenevr you want, subject to that country's immigration laws of course. If they allow 30 days, that's what you can do.

Whether you are a citizen or permanent resident, some countries (like Brazil) require a visa beforehand, but most don't. Check with them what other documents (if any) they require.

That might confuse some people. For most countries, having a green card has nothing to do with the visa requirements. (The Bahamas is an exception.) For most countries, if you needed a Visa before you got a green card, you still need one afterwards. For many LPRs, most countries require a visa. For American citizens, most countries do not. (As you said, Brazil does.)
