Hello you all,

I just joint the forum and want to check some options ,

I actully live in the USA since 99 on several different visa types and no I am here on a E-2 visa , I am engaged to a American woman now and we want to marry in october .

On the visa I live here I have to leave every two years ( coming up end of June ) and I was wondering if the is a chance to aos adjustment of status without leaving me the country even though we have not filed anything yet ? What are the options ?

any help is greatly appreciated

You are not adjusting from a family based visa (K-1 or K-3) moving this to the other AOS forum.

Once the paper work is filed and you have I-485 NOA1 letter you can remain in the USA without fear of an overstay whil the I-485 is pending.

You will need to file I-130 AND I-485 together to adjust status, you will also need to attach an I-765 (If you want to work) and I-131 if you intend on traveling while waiting for approval of I-485.
