Hello,

Is there anyone who went for Biometrics before appointment date?

My appointment is in June at the Seattle office, but I can't make it that day.

I know the best way would be to send back the NOA for reschedule, but I am worried that the appointment date will be even later.

Would it be ok if I just come in? or should I make an appointment beforehand via infopass or something?

Any comment would be appreciated. Thanks!

The best thing would be to make it to the appointment. You are right. If you miss it, you will be given a LATER date and that will only delay your case further. You could try a walk-in and see if the ASC will take you in. Most of them do, most of them dont. Depends on your location and amount of work-load in that ASC. I would suggest, not to request for a change of date.

LOTS of people on VJ have done walkins before the appointment and I've never seen one have any problems. Some ASC offices have Wednesday for walkins. Go for it.

Thank you for all the comments!

It looks like my local office (seattle) is usually busy and even those who have appointments sometimes have to wait... so I guess I will have to try to make it to the appointment date. Is there anyone in the Seattle area here?

To make matters worse, the Seattle office seems to be one of those where processes tend to go slowly... Just my luck (sigh).
