Hello everybody,

Well, a few days ago I received my employment authorizacion card and my authorizacion for travel (I 131) for me and my son.

We bought the tickets . So we will travel in june. Only my son and I. My husband can't travel with us. I am thinking to take my license marriage with me also. Because I filed my status with my marriage name. So my authorizacion travel is with my new name, but my passport has my maide name. I think it won't any problem. My concern is............................I would like to know is safe to travel with this document. I want to make sure that I wont have any problems when I come back to Usa.

I would like to hear some people who traveled with this documents. If they didn't have any problems to entry to USA.

I will really appreciate it. Myabe it will make feel better.

Thanks.

As long as you didn't have any overstay more than 180+ days, you should have no issues using the AP.

Since your two forms have different names, you should take a copy of your marriage certificate, showing your married name.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Should not be a problem and yes, it is a good idea to bring your marriage lisence just in case.
