I apologize for many of you not recognizing our name, but I just joined this club this morning (It is now 11:11 PM here in the Philippines). Minutes ago I just got off the phone with the NVC, and found out we were finished there on May 8. I feel a little stupid after my posting today on this site about our continued torture, but I confess I am thrilled to be an idiot.

For those of you still waiting, I ache for you. We suffered for ten months in Vermont, and now almost two months in New Hampshire; however, just when it seems all hope is lost it just happens. I had been calling weekly since the USCIS approved us on March 27, so last week I got tired of calling and just checked my emails. Stupid me. I've been approved for ten days and didnt even know it.

For what it is worth, my reading of many of your posts in this thread leads me to suggest forty to fifty five days is a reasonably good estimate for NVC. I've seen too many approvals reading the posts in this thread that were in that range for it to be a coincidence. So if you are still waiting, and you are approaching fifty days, you can get optimistic the wait is almost over.
