employment question

I have been living and working in China over the past 5 years for Chinese companies. Although I filed my IRS taxes every year, my income has been foreign earned and all of it paid in cash.....no pay stubs.

We submitted our I-130 on May 7th.

I will be arriving back into America at the end of the month to prepare for my wifes arrival.

The problem is, I will have a new job waiting for me when I return and the wages will be above the 125% poverty line but I most likely will only be able to accumulate 1 paystub before the Affidavit of Support is need to be submitted. I do not have someone who can be a co-sponsor.

So will there be an issue with me only being able to provide one paystub?

They look at you entire financial history.

Just provide what evidence you have (previous tax transcripts, letter from you current employer (see guides), and paystub you have.)

If you make 125% of the level needed - no need for a cosponsor.

Accually you will be fine, I hadn't work for a year (workers comp) before filing for my wife. You will need a letter from your employer on company letterhead,their contact info and you should be fine. Send in the letter,check stub(s) and write a letter of explanation describing your situation and you will have no problems.

My income for the prior years leading to filing was bad, $32,000 3 years ago, $6000 2 years ago (student) and $0 in 2007 (workers comp year). I also have 3 children from a previous marriage.
