Thank you my dear friends for all your support over these long hard months of waiting.

I can't believe it's ALMOST over...

The interview was EASY and PAINLESS the CO did not ask for any proof / docs/ photos....

I was asked 5 questions: How did you meet, when was the last time you saw each other, where does your husbamnd live, where does he work and when did you get married.

The Co then advised me that the Visa has been issued and I could pick it up from VFS later this evening.

Strange thing she did not even ask me for the DS 230 Part 2...I only realised once I left the consulate

Quick hello to everyone! Busy getting last minute things ready in anticipation for hubby's arrival this weekend. Just wanted to say hi to everyone

Awaiting Wednesday to roll by so hubby can pick up his visa from embassy and book the airfare. Hoping he can find an available seat for Friday May 22nd!! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Hi all!

Laptop is dying so I'll be quick. Turns out I was able to set the appt. Monday morning and they gave us this Wednesday. Crazy!!!! So I bought a ticket and left for CR on Tuesday. We spent 5 hours at the embasssy for a 3 minute interview... DIEGO GOT APPROVED!!!!!!!!!

We are planning on coming home on Tuesday! I can't even believe it. Everything happened so fast in the end. We're going to the embassy momentarily to pick up the visa.

I too had to wait almost 3 hours for a 3 minute interview....but what a joyous feeling when it is all said and done. Almost surreal

Arrived in LAX safe and sound. My POE was Toronto as we have US immigration preclearance at the airport. Just getting used to the place..... Loving the west coast weather though
