Thank you my dear friends for all your support over these long hard months of waiting.

I can't believe it's ALMOST over...

The interview was EASY and PAINLESS the CO did not ask for any proof / docs/ photos....

I was asked 5 questions: How did you meet, when was the last time you saw each other, where does your husbamnd live, where does he work and when did you get married.

The Co then advised me that the Visa has been issued and I could pick it up from VFS later this evening.

Strange thing she did not even ask me for the DS 230 Part 2...I only realised once I left the consulate :wacko:

Quick hello to everyone! Busy getting last minute things ready in anticipation for hubby's arrival this weekend. Just wanted to say hi to everyone :star:

Awaiting Wednesday to roll by so hubby can pick up his visa from embassy and book the airfare. Hoping he can find an available seat for Friday May 22nd!! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Good Morning ALL

Arrived into Toronto yesterday atfernoon after what felt like a never ending flight and got right into unpacking and then packing for LA.

My flight leaves this afternoon at 5:00PM.

I should be online on msn by Sunday...

I hope we hear from C soon. I am sure everything is going just fine for her and D.

We don't have any special plans this weekend. Probably just planting the rest of our stuff which we got from The Home Depot...and maybe a little BBQ. My neighbors are probably having a party, so we might just join them. They always invite me but I usually don't go...perhaps now that hubby is here, we will go together. Right now no solid plans. How about you???

NO Plans this weekend but boring and uneventful is fine with me....

I had to pick my daughter up from school at 9am this morning because she went to the nurses office with a huge headache. The ex came to pick her up so now I have the whole afternoon to get things done.

Haven't heard from C. I keep calling..... Phone is still off. Maybe she doesn't turn it on in Costa Rica.... I dunno.

We are saving the Night at the Museum for next weekend when my daughter is here. We are dying to see it as the first one was really good. :yes:

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Laptop is dying so I'll be quick. Turns out I was able to set the appt. Monday morning and they gave us this Wednesday. Crazy!!!! So I bought a ticket and left for CR on Tuesday. We spent 5 hours at the embasssy for a 3 minute interview... DIEGO GOT APPROVED!!!!!!!!!

We are planning on coming home on Tuesday! I can't even believe it. Everything happened so fast in the end. We're going to the embassy momentarily to pick up the visa.

Thanks so much for all the well wishes! Hoepfully I'll be back on soon.
