06/01/2011 - Mailed ROC package to CSC

06/02/2011 - Package arrived and signed for at CSC

06/02/2011 - NOA receipt date

06/06/2011 - Check cashed

06/07/2011 - NOA arrived in the mail

06/15/2011 - Biometrics appointment letter arrived in the mail

07/11/2011 - Biometrics appointment

02/02/2012 - Phoned USCIS and put in a service request

02/08/2012 - Email from USCIS confirming my request

02/11/2012 - Letter from USCIS - says i should receive news within 30 days

03/14/2012 - Phoned USCIS again. 30 days has passed. no news. Took details again.

03/15/2012 -Received letter from USCIS - have to go to interview April 24th

04/24/2012 - Interview and ROC approved!!

05/07/2012 - Received email, card production ordered

05/11/2012 - Green card arrived

06/22/2012 - Mailed N-400 package to Phoenix/AZ Lockbox

08-18-2008 : I-130 Received

08-22-2008 : I-130 NOA1

02-02-2009 : I-130 NOA2 Approved 164 days from NOA1

NVC

02-04-2009 : Visited my wife for 2 weeks. 02-22-2009 come back to US

02-11-2009 : Received package from NVC

02-23-2009 : AOS Paid $70 (Online)

02-23-2009 : DS-3032 sent (by email)

02-25-2009 : Payment Received from my bank (AOS)

03-04-2009 : NVC has received the Choice of Agent DS-3032 (Online)

03-04-2009 : IV Application Processing Fees $400 (Online)

Dai, it's not early. The date is 26, not 29. She miss read it or something.

Thi originally had her date to pick up her visa the same day I was to fly back to the US. I called the Consulate and when I finallly got to talk to a US CO, explained the reason it was important to pick up her visa early so we could fly back together. The female US CO put me on hold for a couple of minutes, when she came back, she told me Thi could pick up her visa the next day! Check our timeline below to see the dates..

So if you want get your visa early, just ask!!! As in my case, they agreed with no problems. :yes:

Hien asked to pick up the visa early because I have to leave on May 30 to go home for my daughter's HS graduation. She explained that she would like to be able to go with me. He said "sorry, we are very busy now and we have so many to process, we cannot do it early for you." So I will come back again next week... :wacko:

Never hurts to ask but the wait time does seem to be getting longer and is pretty much a week now for all of us.
