I was rather amazed at the salaries I saw posted at job openings for the fed.

As with 95% of Govt, these wages will only continue to grow.

Back when I was a Gov't employee I made like 11.65 per hr. The top guy (supervisor) in my department was making like 18 and Hr.

I thought I had it pretty good back then.

:)

I must work for the 5% who's wages won't be growing! We're actually getting a cut a minor cut at around 5% but for those struggling to pay their bills that may send a few more over the edge. I do admit one thing.. I started where I work making ok money but was lucky enough to push onward and upward a few promotions later and I ended up going from ok to not that bad in a couple of years. That is for someone that doesn't have expensive tastes and isn't in debt up to their eyeballs.. we all of course have different ideas as to what Ok and not that bad is.

Wow. $18 is low for a supervisor. Actually my immediate boss makes like $80/hr and $5000 bonues.
