Hi everyone!

I am new to the site and sponging up as much info as I can. Currently preparing the I-129F package for mailing and hope to have it off by the end of this month. I have found the guides posted on this site to be a great help in filling out the forms and for giving ideas on additional items to include. I proposed to my fiance this month and if all goes well we hope to be together in the US by January next year. Judging by the timelines for the CSC we may just make it, only time will tell. So, this is just me saying 'howdy' to the rest of you. Hopefully I will be posting a timeline soon.

Which brings me to my question. I have read the timelines of other users here and can't seem to figure one of the entries out. Can someone tell me what "Touched" means?

Regards,

Deryck

Welcome to VJ. I hope your case works out the way you planned. Don't make any set plans yet, because you never know how long it will take.

Touched means they did work on your case.

Once you receive your receipt number and set up your account online you will be able to see if they 'touch' your account. Getting a touch means that the date your case was last updated changed but the reason it was looked at isn't given. IE: If you received your NOA1 on April 1st and the updated stamp on your account says May 1st, but the last record of anything having been done on your account is them sending you the NOA1 then you've been touched.

I remember asking the same question when I joined VJ. It simply means your case has been worked on, on that day. Welcome to VJ!!
