I received the letter from the NVC saying that my husband has his interview at the Embassy in El Salvador on June 29, 2009. This embassy has two visits, one for documentation and the other for the interview.

The letter from the NVC said that we had submitted all of the necessary documentation and that it was all approved. But, I know they could still ask for things... So, my husband is going to go to the embassy with the following:

1. A copy of the complete I-130 application, including the receipt showing that it was received and the receipt showing it was approved.

2. A copy of the complete I-864 application, which includes my tax info, pay stubs, and letters from my employers. (And which was approved by the NVC.)

3. Originals of his birth certificate, his police record (which shows that he has no police record), our marriage certificate, the DS-230 Part 1 (signed), and the DS-230 Part 2 (not signed). (All of which has also been submitted to the NVC.)

4. A copy of all of the stuff sent to the NVC with the DS-230 (emails, cards, joint bank account information, etc.)

5. A photocopy of the things in items 3 and 4 with his case number written in the upper right hand corner - to give to the embassy after they have reviewed the originals.

6. Photos of us, including before, during and after our wedding.

7. Two passport style photos with his name written on the back.

8. The letter from the NVC that has his appointment date and that says that all of the documentation was accepted.

9. Proof that I paid the IV bill and the fee for the Affidavit of Support.

10. Possibly his medical records, though the doctor he spoke with told him that they would deliver them. I asked him to get a copy anyways, just in case there is a problem.

11. Money to pay for the possible courier fees to send him his passport with the visa in it.

Is there anything else I should send with him? We have the time and I would like to make sure that he is prepared.

Thanks in advance.
